I love Tumblr, because the people I follow post such beautiful and inspiring pictures that I spend hours on it every day. The site is definitely my favourite among other social networking websites like FB and Twitter. Here are some fashionable pictures I saved and looooveee.


Okay actually this picture is of a scene from one my favourite tv shows of all time, Boy Meets World. But what attracts me to it, fashion-wise, is that 90's fashion was so so much simpler and I miss it. Curduroy pants, jeans, plaid shirts, sweaters and sneakers and people won't look at you like you've no fashion sense whatsoever. 


Throw out the mundane black blazer and pants, put on some brown ones and you'll look totally spiffy! Love this. If I were an interviewer, I'd hire you in an instant :p



I'm all in for the baseball jacket craze right now. My mum has one from her Uni days in the States but it's a bit bulky and needs major dry-cleaning. Scoured for it online and got myself a look-alike :)


A bit unclear due to me sitting down..


This would be my uniform if Malaysia was a four-season country. Looks so comfy! I guess that's my basic need in clothes; comfort.


A backless dress is always so much sexier than a plunging neckline. The colours are my favourite too; grey and dusty, coral pink.


I've run in into a few leopard-print pants but because my lower body is a bit on the voluptuous side, I dare not to wear one. I'll definitely look tacky :/ But this woman looks lovely doesn't she? The cream shirt compliments the pants perfectly.


What my future son will dress like.


I've always persuaded Amer to wear a sweater over his shirt and tie but a reluctant look is always given. I can perfectly understand why (our scorching weather) but this look is so, so handsome isn't it? I'd melt at the sight of any man sporting it.


I'm on the prowl for the perfect psychedelic, starry-printed skirt or pair of pants. I've come across a pair of bright mix of blue, red, yellow and green pants from Calaqisya at ChicPop but my sisters gave me a no-never-no look. Very obvious that I'm the most adventurous one among us four :p

When you watch any television series, I bet you'd keep an ear out on their theme songs as well. Well maybe not all of you but I do because I think it plays an important role in introducing the whole show to the audience, and can probably act as the icing on top too. Here are my top 5. This hiatus has been too long and has agonized the crap out of me. Weekly vampire fix is much needed!

I'm sure some need a Stefan and Elena fix (since they were last seen patching things up :)



Or for some, only Damon..solely Damon..



and yep, I think that's it.


Kidding. There's so much more to it than good looking main characters. :p

As for me, I've missed all three :)


There's the issue about Elijah and this Klaus guy, and a new wolf girl in town whom Damon had provoked which I'm sure chaos will ensue...The father-and-son warlocks and how the son was actually using Bonnie but we all know that somehow will change... Katherine's fate in the tomb... Alaric and Jenna...Jeremy's futile (in my opinion) longing for Bonnie...However, aside from all that, I can't wait to feast my eyes on more Caroline & Tyler's budding "friendship".







They are too cute for words. Star-crossed "friends". I really love that kind of relationship on tv. Makes it all more exciting. But poor Matt though. He seemed to be forgotten the last time we saw him. I hope the writers planned some good action, or his looks and charm will be sadly wasted. I'm sure most viewers would want to see more of him. He just pops in and out from time to time tending tables at Mystic Grill.

Wow, one realization when writing this is how apparent I miss them. Imagine being used to waiting for a new episode each week and to be halted from doing so for 2 or so months.







Are you excited as I am? I'm wriggling my toes and bobbing my head side to side as we speak. Mark your calendars!

Oh yes, I know what to blog (in this case, posting a picture and nothing else) on at this hour!

The Vampire Diaries is back baby! Along with the character I've been waiting to watch; Katherine!



By jolly, she is such a B.A.M.F! (I don't usually use such words but since it's an abbreviation, I'll allow myself to.) Though the actress is the same, Elena and Katherine are total opposites. Nina Dobrev can totally pull a Maya Karin, and my God did she scare the pants off me the first episode. Plus, the fact that the show puts me at the edge of my seat every time is what I love about it. Can't wait for the second episode!


Honestly, I hardly ever use these many exclamation marks in a blog entry, and also in a normal conversation, ever. Goes to show how super excited I am he he

Gilmore-isms

When I watched GG in high school, to be honest I couldn't really understand what Lorelai and Rory were talking about most of the time. They always used some kind of reference to an actor or a band that I've never heard of. Now flash forward to current time, and me having the chance to revisit the girls again, I'm slowly picking up their Gilmore-isms. Guess I "educated" myself with enough information on pop-culture to comprehend their conversations and I don't know why but it makes me feel good he he. I don't feel so left out now : )
 
 

p.s: I literally had sleepless nights because I couldn't stop watching them. Disc after disc and I became nocturnal for a day yesterday! That's never happened before. Ini serius..

Found this rare pic of them on Tumblr and I stared at it for a few minutes with a smile on my face :)

Honestly, I hated Jess on GG (Gilmore ye, bukan Gossip). He was such a jerk to Rory, but was always sweet when you least or in this case, Rory expected it. But I love them being together off screen. I think they were together for a good 3 years or so before parting ways. Then he went off to be with Hayden, which is in my opinion, was not such a perfect match (in my opinion tau, huu) and she on her own now for years (I think). I wish they realize they're actually very perfect together and go tie the knot and make cute babies together.



p.s: Whoever was and still is a big fan of Gilmore Girls would know the meaning behind the title of this post :)

Currently, I look up to him.


Yes he is a fictional character and teaches Spanish and conducts the Glee Club but he's a teacher. I will without any shame, associate myself with any teacher there is, be it fact or fiction and learn a thing or two. I truly believe this will help to motivate yours truly and to have a little bit of fun in the academic world. Thank you. Plus, he's cute. hehehehe.



p.s: Selingan Glee. I don't know about you guys, but though Puck and Finn are cute, I find myself wishing I'm Emma. Ok thank you.

BOO!

For someone who does not live in a rented house or college, you would think that having the privilege to the telly and Astro, I would know everything there is to every tv show out there. But nope, I really don't. That is because:

  1. Mr. A(ssignments)
  2. I have no more tv cravings (nafsu)
  3. I begin to appreciate regular channels more (TV3, NTV7, TV2, etc)
  4. The existence of websites that give you updates on every show (mostly Americans though)

For the current being, I have been opting for number 4 for quite awhile now, and I only watch this one show and that is The Vampire Diaries.

Somehow, I would really really want to watch other shows like Glee, AI, etc but considering they are already up to episode 14 and so, I am bit lazy to catch up.. :s Sometimes I do feel a little left behind, but it's kinda hard for me to concentrate on many shows so I just choose one and I have been following it since the first episode.

Now it's already episode 19, but it always has me at the edge of the seat. Every single time. Why do I choose a tv show that is super scary and it tortures me and makes me stifle screams every time with a pillow? Other than every episode ending with a cliffhanger, the characters of course. They're very hard to resist. My eyes can't look away... (poyonye..)



Oh my just look at his eyes. So alluring, yet intimidating and it's almost seems like they're"eating" you alive.


Sigh... He used to be the good one. Now he's the silent, raging on the inside, almost in the direction of becoming bad one. How did that happen? You gotta watch..


Tolonglah. Sekali je. Bagi saya jadi Elena Gilbert!



Maybe when the semester break starts, fans of Glee, ANTM, any cool show, could give the episodes they've downloaded to me? Then I can give you VP. Sistem barter. Nak tak nak tak? Okay.

can really shut people up don't you think? I've been in a similar situation, and yes, it did keep my flapper tightly closed for a few seconds. Very effective in situations when you can't stand the person and you would like them to pipe down. Though I would not recommend it if you do not mean it. But I would highly recommend it if you do mean it. hee :)

RORY: Hey, last night when we watched Ed Wood we got burgers like you wanted to.

JESS: Okay, fine -- tonight, Indian food, but tomorrow, Saturday Night Fever and Thai food.

LANE: That's so cute. You're like a really sweet old agoraphobic couple.

JESS: Thank you very much.

LANE: Okay, I've gotta go. Bye.

RORY: Bye.

[Lane leaves. Rory and Jess walk down the street]

JESS: So, it's been a couple days since you made the big decision. You still going to Yale?

RORY: Yes, I am. It's got all the classes I want and some really great teachers, and plus, you know, as an added bonus, it's really close to here.

JESS: 22.8 miles.

RORY: How'd you know that?

JESS: Do you Yahoo?

RORY: You looked it up?

JESS: Yeah.

RORY: You looked it up.

JESS: I just hit a couple buttons on the computer.

JESS: I was bored. There was nothing on TV and I was fooling around, it was something to do, that's it.

#5 you know what's...

...annoyingly and typically irresistable?

Vampires on tv. I am now addicted to The Vampire Diaries, since HBO keep censoring and cutting off scenes in True Blood and Moonlight is defunct and won't seem to be renewing its series for a second season anytime soon.


Stefan Salvatore looks so much like Robert Pattinson, with the hair and brooding stare but the books came out way before Twilight, so maybe Stefan was inspired by Edward's look but nevertheless, Stefan is holding his own.
