running with scissors

Assamualaikum. How ya'll (I find saying ya'll cute) doing? Hope you guys are in the pink of health. Me? I'm good; health-wise. Been hitting the gym (!) and I must say, I love it :) Personal-wise; smooth-sailing. Virtual world-wise; NOT GOOD.

Since Wednesday night up until now, I have not been on Facebook. Without my consent pulak tu. Haa you guys mesti tengah check whether I'm there or not. Saya tak ada. It's like I never had one before :( My account has sadly been disabled. Buduh.

How did I get myself in this situation? I don't even know. Even if you ask Facebook, they won't give you a straight answer either. Trust me, I know. Apparently, I, me, moi, Nur Nashrah bt. Md Nasir Khan who hardly ever breaks rules, had violated their terms which include impersonating someone else, posting explicit pictures, harassment and others along the same line. Okay, for those who know me and are my friends in real life and in Facebook, would I really do something like that? I felt so dubious that night that I literally stared at the monitor for minutes. In my head was the big question "Why? Why me?"

Okay, my words might seem a bit melodramatic, I mean it's not like someone stole my identity (like what Sandra Bullock went through in The Net) or my life is over or anything like that. I can survive not going on Facebook and know the latest updates on everyone (though I may feel a bit left out, sobs) but the thing is, the topic for my AE, the final year project of my degree, is about the friggin social networking site. 

Sucks right? Sangat.

So now, I'm waiting for this whole thing to be attended by The Facebook Team, as they're fondly (not) called, but I don't know when that will be because I'm on a list. Yes, I've been put on hold. And get this, I'm not even allowed to create another account, or else I risk being permanently disabled. 

In the mean time, I am panicking silently. Help me God.
