Pre-prac has been a semi torture.

Don't get me wrong; the program is great. Ms. Elia and the others are doing a good job in making sure we are on the right track, whether we understand or not, motivating us on the road to June, but 8.30 a.m to 5.00 p.m a day is pushing my limits. Day One, I was okay. I was building my enthusiasm really hard, since I have been morose these past couple of weeks dreading what else, practicum of course. So there I was, trying to produce a hard mental image; myself in front of a class of high school boys and gals, teaching English. Man, it was not easy, and still isn't. Day Two, I was bold enough to have a little shut eye in front of the speakers. A little meaning closing my eyes for mere seconds but repeated several times. Wouldn't dare to sleep all the way through :s I hope I am able to withstand Day Three aiyaiyai.

Anyhoo, I think I have blogged briefly a couple of times before, about how I despise constructing lesson plans. Oh my goodness, they are like trips to the dentist. I dread them so bad, I'm procrastinating to do one right now. But I gotta do it somehow and still sleep early, to be able to finish them on time and present on Thursday.

Speaking of presenting on Thurs, maybe it is luck, but since I'm going to Redang on Friday, I am eligible to skip one day of pre-practicum he he. But it is not something that I enjoy though. Friday is presentation day and I really want to see how my friends conduct it at the front and support them. Guess I am too "semangat" to follow this trip and miss the last day of pre-prac.

Going to Redang is another story. Some may think I'm going there for leisure, or simply mengada-ngada nak ikut si dia dgn muka tak malu, but nope. I'm not that tak malu hehe. A friend who's one of the organizers for this trip asked me to join the research team and visit some of the schools there. We are going to find out (hope I get this right) the effectiveness of the new literature component and the usage of CRP in the teaching and learning environment among teachers and students,... or something close to that hehe. This is my first time to join such a team and I'm really excited to conduct it with friends. Wish me luck though, because my inexperience might shine through :s

Also lately, my mind doesn't produce that much ideas on what to blog about. There are, but most of them involve sappiness, eye candies and the like, and I'm kinda embarrassed to do so... 

So I've been spending a lot of time on my Tumblr. It's been my hobby of late, to view inspiring, quirky, cute photos people put up and reblog it. It's so much fun. Oh not to forget, photos from weheartit too. I find myself wasting time "heart-ing" photos and save them in my laptop, and it kinda makes me forget about the hustle and bustle in life for a short but fulfilling period of time.
