Redang and Sekayu

Redang and Air Terjun Sekayu/ Sekayu Waterfall were awesome. Reasons:

Redang:
  • the water was so beautiful; like the one you see in pictures. Crystal clear, mystical blue-green and colourful fishes underwater!
  • one night, I couldn't sleep so I joined them at the jetty. Little did I know, there were baby sea turtles crawling up the shore! There were about 17 of them! Yes, we saved baby sea turtles yaw! (We did put them back in the water but they turned around every time)
  • It was my first experience riding in a lorry. Not in the passenger seat (though I got lucky on two occasions) but in the back! Like chickens! 
  • It was my first snorkelling experience.
  • Fed fishes underwater
  • Swam and snorkeled in the middle of the ocean. We rode in a boat and our cikgu asked us to jump in the water right there and then.

Air  Terjun Sekayu
  • Helloooo basking in the cold, cold water with your friends? Watching them do Tarzan stunts? Feed fishes in the water and let them nibble your fingers? Watching him get all excited and willingly wait the fishes to eat the bread off his hand? Priceless.
  • Best barbecue I've ever had in a while.

I am so glad I went on this trip. A big thank you to Mior, Min and Hayana for making it happen. Unfortunately though, I didn't bring my camera along because the digital camera was with my sister, and the thought of totting the DSLR around is too much of a hassle. So I'm currently waiting for beautiful pictures from the rest. In the meantime, I've got a report to submit and things to plan because he's going to leave soon. Yes, sometimes the good things don't last very long. You've gotta miss it for awhile :(

    Azie, yes it was:D tu laa, im missing them already. cekyam and kinah are planning a trip to kelantan next yr hehehe
